JUST ONE LIE

I have always wondered why the Jews did not and still don’t believe Christ resurrected after three days, until I was led to a scripture in the Bible, which shows it was JUST ONE LIE that for them, nullified what Christ did. What was the lie?

The Chief priests told the guards to lie that the disciples came to steal the body at night, while they were sleeping. They were given money to tell this lie and they told the lie. This lie is what has robbed many Jews of the gift of Salvation.

Reminds me of Carol’s story…

Carol was on the bed with her husband on that fateful Saturday morning, when her phone rang, it was her twin sister calling. Simultaneously, the door bell rang, David her husband went for the door, while she received her call.

” Carol, please do me a favour, my husband will call you soon, tell him we were out all day yesterday.. Together…Tell him, we went shopping, and got back late around 11:45pm” Christy rushed her words

” But that is a lie, and I don’t tell lies. ” Carol answered

” Please, Carol, just this one lie, save my life, and I promise after this I.will stop my promiscuity…”She pleaded as she dropped the call…

Meanwhile, downstairs, David was being interrogated by some police officers, who found his ID card at a crime scene the previous nite.

David told them he had nothing to do with the crime as he was at home with his wife, that night from about 6pm. He told them to give him a minute to call his wife, as she was a witness. He shouted Carol’s name and told her to come downstairs.

Carol was on her way down, when Christy’s husband called…

” Hello Emma.., Good morning, happy weekend… Fine… What? Your wife?.. Yes we were together yesterday till late at night… I even got home around 11:45pm ..ok. No problem “

At this point, David rose up in shock and fear, as the officials were looking at him like they had nailed him…

” Carollll…. What sort of lie did you just tell, we were both at home.. ” The officer cut in

” Mr David, don’t put words in her mouth, you have been telling us lies, we have your wife’s voice on tape. Definitely you were at the crime scene and you killed Miss Kike after you raped her” He brought out the handcuffs

” What? ” Carol shouted.

Before Carol could fully grasp what happened and explain what truly happened, her husband was behind bars. Carol asked Christy to speak up, which she did, but the case was against them, because of just ONE LIE, that had been recorded.

David was sentenced to life imprisonment and he spent 30 years before the real culprit was found, it was his cousin who had stolen his wallet. The victim had struggled with the rapist, it was then the wallet fell. The cousin picked it up, but the ID card had fallen.

JUST ONE LIE tampered with a man’s destiny, be careful of every word that proceeds out of your mouth..

The one lie, the soldiers at the tomb of Jesus said thousands of years back, is still what is making the Jews resist CHRIST as the Messiah..

” They told the soldiers, “You must say, ‘Jesus’ disciples came during the night while we were sleeping, and they stole his body. So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.”

THE WILL OF GOD – DONALD J. TRUMP.

Donald J. Trump – says a lot of wrong things, but God uses anyone; in the scriptures, the Lord used animals, heathen Kings, etc to bring about His will.

Many supported Obama 8 years ago as the First Black President, but the things he has done against Christianity and Morality are deeply astonishing in History:

*Christian bakeries in U.S have been closed down by judges appointed by Obama for refusing to bake cakes for homosexual marriages*

*People have been told to stop saying Happy Christmas and to say happy holidays because Obama believes that the Christ in Christmas offends none Christians in a country where about 80% are Christians.*

*Obama has withdrawn money meant for the education of children from schools that have refused to allow boys and girls to use the same bathrooms and toilets.*

*Obama ordered Chaplains in US army to stop using the Name of Jesus during funerals.*

*Christian companies have been forced to employ homosexuals by Obama judges*

*laws have been made that allows 15 years old children to have a sex change operation without parental consent.*

*The Bible has been removed from the beds of US Christian soldiers by Presidential order*

*Did nothing for Africa and actually punished African Countries with funds withdrawal because of our broad dislike for homosexuality.*

*He sanctioned Nigeria because President Jonathan signed a bill against homosexuality.*

*He refused to visit his father’s country of Kenya because President Uhuru Kenyata is against homosexuality – he only visited Kenya last year; 7 years into his presidency so that it will not be on record that he never visited his fatherland as President, and when he visited, he tried to get President Kenyata to legalize homosexual marriage in secret.*

Hillary Clinton – supports everything Obama does.

Hillary would have continued all of Obama’s policies against Followers of Christ.

Many people like her because she is a woman and would have become the first female President just as we supported Obama when we saw he could become the first Black President.

*America is the most influential country in the world: once Obama came out to endorse homosexual marriage 4 years ago – the Prime Minister of Britain and the President of France did the same thing within weeks.*

According to Trump’s son, one of the things that his father rarely gets credit for, is the way he raised them:

Clinton ran for the office to protect Obama’s legacy.

Calling God ‘Arúgbó Ọjϙ’ is an Insult!

Please this post is an eye-opener for everyone who love to eulogise the Lord with the word Arúgbó Ọjọ́
This Yoruba interpretation is very wrong for ‘Ancient of Days’.

The first Yoruba Bible translation was Ẹni-Àgbà Ȯjọ́. The recent translations in other Yoruba Bible versions were Ẹni Ayérayé and Ẹni Ìgbàanì, Ẹni to ti wa tipę tipę.

So, there is no where in the Yoruba Bible you can find Arúgbó Ȯjọ́. Ancient of Days appears three times in the Bible and only in the book of Daniel chapter 7 verse 9, 13 and 22.

If you check Yoruba dictionary; Arúgbó means ‘old age’, Ȯjọ́ means ‘day’. Thus, the English interpretation for Arúgbó Ȯjọ́ should be “Old age of days”.

Arúgbó Ȯjọ́ does not make a logical sense to be interpreted as Ancient of Days. But the three different Yoruba Bible translations; Ẹni-Àgbà Ȯjọ́, Ẹni Ayérayé and Ẹni Ìgbàanì or Ęni to ti wa tipę tipę, have a logical sense of interpretation as Ancient of Days.

The name Arúgbó Ȯjọ́ is a terrible insult to the LORD because He does not age and can never be old. Some of the characteristics of Arúgbó are weakness, less power, help seeker and susceptibility to attacks and diseases. Is it not a taboo to give God such a kind of prefix-name (Arúgbó)?

Henceforth, if you intend calling God ‘Ancient of Days’ in Yoruba then say; Ẹni-Àgbà Ȯjọ́, Ẹni Ayérayé, Eni Ìgbàanì or Ęni to ti wa tipę tipę. Calling God Arúgbó Ȯjọ́ is an abuse and insult to the LORD.

Yes! Great men of God and musicians use the word ‘Arúgbó Ȯjọ́’, but you would agree with me after reading this post that we have all got it wrong!

“Coffin For Head of State” In memory of Fela Kuti and other Nigerians who were voice of freedom

On this day in 1977, dozens of armed soldiers raided Kalakuta Republic, the home of Fela Kuti located at 14 Agege Motor Road, Idi-Oro, Mushin, Lagos, Nigeria. “Before the attack on Fela’s home, he made a record called Zombie, about the Nigerian military regime. In the song, soldiers are called zombies for obeying orders blindly.” The raid was carried out by the Military government headed by Olusegun Obasanjo.

Fela’s home was burned down. The raid led to the death of his mother and lost of many intellectual properties.

They wanted to kill the only prominent voice of that time. The voice of freedom and equal rights.

He talks about no food, light, and security for the citizens
He talks about corruption in government
He talks about vagabond in power- leadership
He talks about police and army brutality.
He talks about Human Rights and inequalities in Nigeria.
He talks about African culture and identity.
He talks about the suffering and smiling mentality of Nigerian citizens
He talks about ignorance and fear of Nigerian citizens
He talks about black Man Power and Philosophy
He talks about the inequality in United Nation.
He talks about corruption in church and mosque.
He talks about almost every thing we suffer today.

40yrs thereafter, no leaders, no food, no light, no jobs, no security in Nigeria.

Police and army brutality still part of our everyday live. Political elites and their counterparts in public offices now steal public fund on Dollars and Pound notes. Nigerian women now in competition with men on corrupt practices. No political party with clear ideology. No vision, no goal..Now, we have the most confused, corrupt, and ignorant youths. More problems and less solutions.

For many of us, the word “Kalakuta Republic” is now an idea, a philosophical and political movement. No battalion of army can stop the idea whose time as come.

I represent that philosophical ideology. A Nigeria for all Nigerians.

We are to blame,not Obj

For record purpose, I am not a fan of OBJ but I am compelled to remind people that Obj isn’t to blame for our choice of bad leaders, but we ourselves.

At the time when OBJ presented us with weak and sick men, healthy men full of sense and action also contested for the same office but Nigerians chose the sick and weak team with their two eyes open. When IBB, a man who confessed with his own mouth that he was the devil in human form, offered us OBJ in 1999, a very decent, sensible, responsible tested and trusted fine breed democrat also contested for our votes but we Nigerians, with our two eyes open, accepted the devil’s gift and discarded the obviously far better gift from God on the altar of primordial or vendetta driven sentiments.

How can such people have good governance? You can’t eat your cake and have it. Nigerians chose vendetta over good governance thereby making good governance the opportunity cost. So why blame OBJ for bad governance after having sacrificed good governance as the opportunity cost for the vendetta (by Igbos and South-South) or old reliable friend reward (by the entire North)?

I re-iterate, I am not a fan of OBJ but I am compelled to remind some bigots what obj did for their god called Gej.

Few among are:
1. Obj single handedly picked him as Yardua running mate despite the protest frm edwin clark and co who were against Gej nomination.

2. Obj was instrumental to his emergence as president. Obj pleaded with the North to accept Gej that he would spend just a 4 years tenure.
As a man of honour, Obj has bluntly rejected gej plan for second term based on an earlier agreement.

However, i am not surprise that many people lack honour and integrity, thus, they do not keep to agreement.
To me, though belated, obj followed the path of honour by dumping Gej and pdp.
The unity and oneness of Nigeria is bigger than the greedy and selfish ambition of Gej.
I have a message for the imbeciles supporting all the wrong things in the name of politics: Poverty and chaos knows not party affiliation or religion.
LEAVE OBJ ALONE!

MOVES TO ISLAMIZE NIGERIA: MY RESPONSE BY SAM OGOAZI

The Moslems are trying to Islamize Nigeria because Christians are not Christianizing Nigeria. How did the white man evangelize Nigeria through the CMS, RCM, SIM, Methodist, Baptist and other agencies? By building schools and hospitals and offering their services at subsidized rates.
Some years ago, my mother needed eye surgery to remove a cataract. We brought her to Lagos and were informed by a consultant at Nigerian Ports Authority Clinic that the best eye hospital in Nigeria is the ECWA Missionary Eye Hospital in Kano. I took my mum there and met with highly qualified expatriates working right in the heart of Kano. The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Kiru had more degrees than a thermometer, the equipment was the best available in the country; despite the hustle and bustle of the city, the atmosphere within the hospital premises was serene. A female, German surgeon (Dr. Bahge) operated on my mum and she was discharged 4 days after she was admitted.
The whole operation including tests, private ward with 2 beds and feeding cost N54,000 (Instead of N200,000 in the cheapest hospital in Lagos). Further tests later showed that my mum’s eyes were like that of a 40-year old (she was in her seventies).
Three years ago, a friend and I met an 18-year old girl who had run away from home, soon after she had a baby for her 20-year old boyfriend; both had absolutely no source of income. Where do we take them to? Someone told me about Ozanam house – a home set up by the Roman Catholic Church just for cases like this. After narrating the story to Rev. Sister Stella (the Head of the place), she said: “go and bring them”.
The girl, her boyfriend and the baby were kept in the center till her mother was located and all three were sent back home to Abuja – all expenses paid by the center. What do the Pentecostal Churches offer today, what acts of love or kindness do you receive from the average Nigerian church, what amenities are provided by the Nigerian Church whose income was estimated at 3 Trillion Naira in 2014 (when the whole Nation budgeted 4 Trillion)?

We build mega auditoriums to seat crowds mainly made up of miracle seekers and those trying to assuage their curiosity; we offer prayers mostly for prosperity and breakthrough, we give prophecies about who is standing in the way of your success and how he or she must be removed by violent prayers. In fact, our enemies, spiritual or physical, must “die by fire”. Meanwhile a pastor here in Ojodu, Lagos owns 45 private cars in the midst of abject poverty. Now there is this satanic competition to know who owns more aircrafts than the other in Nigeria. Most Church members can not afford the fees charged by schools owned by the Churches where they worship.

A woman had a baby through normal delivery in a hospital owned by the Church where she worships here in Ojodu, Lagos; the bill-N150,000.

It is “Haram” (forbidden) for a Moslem to take interest on a loan given to another Moslem but a pastor I know was charged 20% interest PER MONTH on a loan given to him by a fellow pastor. By the 6th month, the interest had exceeded the principal sum.

Ok, let’s keep sending WhatsApp messages asking for prayers against Moslems who are aggressively promoting their religion using any means necessary while we focus on getting as many people to our breakthrough programs as we can (not minding whether they understand the rudiments of Christianity). If we get enough people to pray through WhatsApp, one day God will look down from Heaven and have mercy on our prayers and force every Moslem (including Buhari and El-Rufai) to either become a Christian or die by fire, meanwhile count me out of those prayers. Thank you.

A COUNTRY IN LIMBO, A FUTURE UNCERTAIN
For nearly two decades running we have ”enjoyed” civilian democratic governance. Every 4-year circle of tenure has left us worse than we were. Even when we made unprecedented revenue from oil , it did not translate too much, as poverty only doubled during the same period. The violence associated with our elections has been on the increase, to a point that INEC was not able to hold elections at times. The corruption associated with governance has completely paralyzed development and gone to such astonishing heights that it has become proverbial. The economy has literally crushed in all but name and with over 30 million unemployed we need a miracle to escape the time bomb waiting to explode. Already we have gone through one of the worst insurgencies in the continent, causing tens of thousands of death and displacing millions. Kidnapping, cattle rustling, rural banditry, ethnic religious clashes, drug epidemic, mention it, have all reached frightening proportions. In the face all these, all the three tiers of government are looking increasingly impotent, helpless and clueless. If we extrapolate this trajectory for the next decade, I am not sure if we can still find the country called Nigeria standing . Isn’t it time we pause and ask ourselves some key questions ?
Where exactly is this rot comimg from ? Why are we unable to make any progress while our peers are moving ahead of us ? Why is Ghana , next door, able to command better democratic cridentials than us ? Why is Ruwanda , which went through the worst genocide in Africa, able to recover in just two decades and today has one of the fastest growing economy in Africa ? -Kigali is easily the cleanest and safest city in Africa- what exactly is wrong with our leaders that they seem to have neither the strength of character, nor the vision, nor the gravitas to pull us out of the abyss we have fallen ? What is it in our politics that is so crippling that we seem not to be able to do anything good for our beleaguered society ? Of all those on the frontline of this our rogue politics. who is there with the proven ability to rise above the scum and salvage our country ? We can continue with more questions , but the point is made that we have to search for the source of our constant failure, to lift our society and move it forward.
Without preempting the answer to these questions, we can easily see that our politics is captive to a rogue political culture, which has a flawed leadership recruitment system, which admits only crooks and syncophants. This mercantile politics has generated so much violence and corruption that has literally consumed governance. Yet we keep repeating the same routine and expect things to change. A popular definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and yet expect different results. It is time that young people take charge of their future and step in to stop the older generation from destroying the only country they have to suvive and thrive. But those who have been speaking on behalf of young people are the hopless, jobless and often rudderless youth who have been hired by politicians to do their bidding. The first step is to get the more informed, more responsible and independent young people to redeem their mandate to speak for their generation. They have to construct an independent youth platform, with clear vision, committed leadership and sustainble governance structure to engage the rogue political culture and salvage our politics, indeed our country for good.

The tribal wisdom of the Plains Indians, passed on from generation to generation, says that: “When you discover that you are riding a dead horse, the best strategy is to dismount.”

However in GOVERNMENT today, more advanced strategies are often employed, such as:

1. Buying a stronger whip.

2. Changing riders.

3. Appointing a committee to study the horse.

4. Arranging to visit other countries to see how other cultures ride dead horses.

5. Lowering the standards so that dead horses can be included.

6. Reclassifying the dead horse as living-impaired.

7. Hiring outside contractors to ride the dead horse.

8. Harnessing several dead horses together to increase speed.

9. Providing additional funding and/or training to increase the dead horse’s performance.

10. Doing a productivity study to see if lighter riders would improve the dead horse’s performance.

11. Declaring that as the dead horse does not have to be fed, it is less costly, carries lower overhead and therefore contributes substantially more to the bottom line of the economy than do some other horses.

12. Rewriting the expected performance requirements for all horses.

And, of course…

13. Promoting the dead horse to a supervisory position.

14. Castigating anyone not loyal to the dead horse as being biased cos he/she is not same tribe or religion as the dead horse……..

There is something glorious about your future God will show you, you will not need your pastor to keep preaching holiness message to you daily…

When you see a girl singing in the choir, yet, from the choir, she keeps sexual appointments, check that girl, she has not seen anything yet about her future…

When you see a young boy who dresses to church, to seduce those small girls to bed and his mates will be clapping for him, check that boy, he has a spiritual eye problem…

He hasn’t seen anything about his future yet…
If you do it again and again and again, God will forgive you again and again and again…

But, while He is busy forgiving you, angels are busy searching for some one else heaven will use to replace you …

What separates men before God is not how long they can pray or how much scriptures they know…

The value God places on people is not determined by the position they occupy in the church…
But how much they can bear for His Name sake…

Some times, He allows your salary to be delayed, to know if you will start stealing in your office…

Sometimes, He allows some lose ladies to start suggesting sex with you, to know if you have grown…

But unfortunately, you still fall again ….
Yes, He will forgive….
But, you will still remain in the same class in the school of glory…

Decision separates men…
There is an OIL that comes with separation…
The weight of a man is buried in the decisions he makes when no one is watching him …

Many times, God allows you to be lonely so that you can be holy…

Forget this public revival messages all of us are preaching…
Many are still behind in the school of glory…

Not because they chose to, but because they still don’t want to pay the price of separation…

If it takes a man to be married to be responsible, we will not have many married irresponsible men scattered all over the place who are renting houses for their girlfriends, while their wives are still at home….

When a man is due for marriage, he should get married…

But don’t tell me to get married because you want me to escape fornication…
Marriage is not an escape route into a responsible life…

What you cannot control when you are single has the power to control you even when you are married …

No matter how beautiful your wife will be, you will still see other beautiful ladies….
Teach me how to die to flesh sir…
Teach me that I can live alone in a house alone and yet, I will not think rubbish thoughts…

Joseph was not married before he ran away naked from Portiphar’s wife bedroom …
It was not a marital ring on his finger that made him refuse that gesture….

But because he knew the future God has planned for Him will be messed up by a single decision….

God wants to raise a generation of young boys and girls that will love God where no one is seeing them …

God wants to raise a breed that doesn’t appear holy only when they see their parents or their pastors…

This holiness by dressing is sending people from choir seats to hell fire…
They are dying in secret sins, yet, they have none to cry to, because, once they confess, they will be stigmatized…

Consequently, we are raising a generation that is speaking in tongues on their way to hell…

Sister, singing in choir doesn’t confer value on men before God, but decision…
Stop attaching your spiritual growth on night vigils where you go and flog enemies …

God is waiting for you when no one is there…
If you can succeed there, you will be a commander of the supernatural…

The greatest tool against the end time church is the adulteration of the message of grace…
They teach you that God will forgive…
But they will not teach you that God will not promote you to another class…

No matter how you love your child, you will not give him your car key to use when you know he has not perfected his driving…

As long as that child is finding it hard to drive perfectly, he will keep trekking to school…

There is someone reading this posts now, heaven is saying that you are due for manifestation, but you have not made a decision yet…

You are still afraid of hunger….
You don’t want to starve….
You are ashamed of what people will say when you stop sleeping with men for money to pay bills…

They have even told you that there is no young person like you that doesn’t have sexual partners…
That human beings were wired by God to fall and rise again…

Several times, you have made moves to delete all those phone numbers that connect you to your vomits…
But you have been afraid of the days of loneliness…

You don’t want to miss those cuddles…
You don’t know if you can ever look into his eyes and tell him: “No more sex”…

Even if he accepts, you are afraid that you might never cope…

Sister, don’t let weekend orgasm rob you of eternal value…

Your enemy is no more that witch in the village….

But any man that is making you comfortable in a place of rebellion with God …

Don’t be in church singing in the choir and God will go to the nearest hotel and catch a prostitute, wash her, clean her and fill her with His power…

I know you have been trying to make amends …
You have answered altar calls several times, yet, you still fall back, even more deeper …

Some of us were there not too long ago…
Singing in choir, leading in powerful prayer sections, yet, battling with addictions…

Worse of all we were afraid to tell anyone…
Because, people around would never have understood how much we were trying to be better …

We bought different anointing oil, from different men of God, yet, we were not free…
We even afflicted ourselves with fastings…
Yet, nothing changed …

Until we encountered the Word of God…..
When Jesus said that ” We are made clean by the Words that I speak unto you…”

We began to read and study the Bible…
Like Job, we began to esteem God’s Word above our necessary food…

Gradually, addictions began to lose its grip…
God began to change our appetites…
Until today, the darkness is past, the true Light now shineth …

Brother, I want to recommend you to the Word of God….
The Word of God will settle that lust issue…
Don’t go and rush into marriage if you are not ready, because you want to avoid temptation…

The spirit of lust does not respect wedding ring…

Especially now that our sisters who are still in Babylon even prefer having it with married men …

There are still single guys who are serving God in spirit and in truth…
5 chapters of the bible every day and 1 hour prayers or more…

You will see that your mind will stop going to those thoughts …
Jesus did not say it is easy…
But He said that with God all things are possible …

Your heart is beating faster now as you are reading this…
You are wondering if you will ever get free from the things you are struggling with…

Friend, that God that did it for us, He will show up on your case…

Receive grace to feast on the Word from now….
In Jesus Name…please teach the young ones in your church and God bless you.

WHO DOES THE TOUGH JOB – YOUR VEHICLE? OR YOUR BODY?

Last year December/ Early Part of January

l decided to service my car for enhanced performance at the following cost:

A) Engine oil N4,500 ,

B) Oil Filter N1,000 ,

C) Change of front wheel bearings: N25,000

D) Change the four tyres 205/70 Rim 16@26,500: N106,000

E) Wheel Balancing & Alignment: N3,500

F) Servicing and Workmanship cost; N10,000.

G) Bought Injector Cleaner & Chemical to minimize Fuel Consumption: N1,500

H) To cap it all l filled the fuel tank up with just N13,500 .

Total cost was N160,000. !!!!!!

While on my bed tonight, a thought began to creep into my mind after hearing so many sad news this year.

Many colleagues/ friends from different fields died in their 40’s, 50’s etc

I was told that they complained of simple signs & symptoms of one ailments or the other And death struck……….

I asked myself,

HOW MUCH HAVE I SPENT THIS YEAR TO SERVICE MY BODY?

For how long will you keep thinking all is well with your health in spite of all odds?
